I experienced a setback during December that seems to be dragging on and on As a result I’m losing the will to keep persevering with rebuilding habits and routines again and again. It seems like I’m hit with a new obstacle or mini-setback before I’ve got close to where I was in Autumn. I feel in danger of slipping into a prolonged low mood and possibly depression.
Today I made a wholefood ‘brownie’ recipe that I can freeze after baking so I’ll be able to snack more healthily. My diet at the moment is far from ideal but this is one little step in the right direction and I’m going to claim it as a success! Hopefully, if I just keep doing the little things that I know have helped before at some point I’ll feel more optimistic again.
