💭Don’t keep repeating items in your to-to list use checklists instead.

My notes

Repeating tasks on a to-do list are demoralising – they just reappear as soon as you’ve done them.

Phil Wild and Beck Tench agree about the frustrating ‘whack-a-mole’ nature of to-do lists.

This has been my experience too. Now I keep repeating tasks in the daily (also works for weekly, monthly etc) checklist in Habitica and I use Tody for housework and personal care jobs that need repeating on a regular interval.

The checklist can actually be completed each day, which is much more satisfying than seeing the task reappear immediately.  And my to-do list isn’t cluttered with items that aren’t due yet.
